Radiohead have announced that the physical release of their new album 'In Rainbows' on CD and vinyl will take place on 31 December.
Billboard reports that the album will be followed by the single 'Jigsaw Falling into Place' on 14 January.
Radiohead have dismissed a study which claimed that the majority of people paid nothing for the 'name your price' download of 'In Rainbows'.
The statement described the data as "wholly inaccurate" and did not "reflect definitive market intelligence or, indeed, the true success of the project".
The statement continued: "the group's representatives would like to remind people that, as the album could only be downloaded from the band's Web site, it is impossible for outside organisations to have accurate figures on sales."
