Tobey Maguire and Jake Gyllenhaal are in talks to star in Irish director Jim Sheridan's new film 'Brothers'.
Variety reports that the drama is a remake of the multi award-winning Danish film 'Brødre', which was directed by Susanne Bier.
It tells the story of a man (Maguire) who is sent to fight in Afghanistan while his misfit brother (Gyllenhaal) cares for his wife and child.
Shooting on the film is due to begin in early November.
