Production has been delayed on the seventh series of the Kiefer Sutherland-starring '24'.
The Hollywood Reporter says that '24' was scheduled to begin filming on 27 August but it will now commence on 10 September so that the writers can complete enough scripts for the new series.
The trade daily says that the producers' original storyline, which was set in Africa, fell through.
Recently Cherry Jones inked a deal to play the President of the US in the seventh series; other actors are in talks.
