'Law & Order: SVU' star Christopher Meloni and 'Spider-Man' star James Franco have joined the cast of the upcoming romantic drama 'Nights in Rodanthe'.
The Hollywood Reporter says that the film is an adaptation of the Nicholas Sparks novel of the same name.
It tells the story of a doctor (Richard Gere) who has a relationship with a married woman (Diane Lane) while travelling to visit his estranged son (Franco).
Meloni will play Lane's character's husband.
