Paris Hilton has reportedly been getting death threats from prison inmates.
Insiders say the reality TV star was terrified when she saw threatening messages on her MySpace page from inmates in the California prison where she is heading on 5 June.
"These maniacs have been writing, 'We're going to get you' and 'I'm going to kill you'," an insider close to Paris told a US magazine.
"One person wrote that she's going to steal Paris's shoes when she goes to jail - and if Paris argues, she'll be beaten to a pulp. It's horrifying."
Paris, who was given a 45-day sentence for driving while disqualified, will now reportedly be placed in a 'special needs' unit for high profile detainees and be kept separate from other inmates.
She told a US magazine: "I'm very scared right now. But I'm really grateful for the support and letters and calls I'm getting from my loved ones."
