A pilot episode for a proposed spin-off of hit medical drama series 'Grey's Anatomy' is to be made.
The Wall Street Journal reports that the series would focus on neonatal surgeon Dr Addison Montgomery-Shepherd, played in 'Grey's Anatomy' by actress Kate Walsh.
The paper said that the two-hour pilot episode is likely to air in the US in May.
'Freedom Writers', the new film starring Walsh's 'Grey's Anatomy' co-star Patrick Dempsey, opens in Irish cinemas on 2 March.
