Former 'Big Brother' contestant Grace Adams-Short has been assaulted outside a London nightlcub.
The 21-year-old was attacked outside the club in central London early on Monday.
According to British newspaper The Daily Star, she was punched to the ground, kicked in the head and had her arms burned with a cigarette.
She needed eight stitches in her forehead, the newspaper said.
The assault happened as her friend got involved in an argument with a man outside the G.A.Y club.
As Grace stepped in to calm down the situation, she was caught by a punch which was directed at her friend but missed and knocked her to the ground.
She is quoted as saying: "The guy just lashed out because I tried to stop him hurting my friend. He was an animal. The doctors have said I'll be scarred for life."
A Scotland Yard spokeswoman said: "Officers were called to reports of an assault outside a nightclub in Charing Cross Road at approximately 3.45am on Monday.
"The victim, a woman in her 20s, was taken by London Ambulance Service to a central London hospital, where she was treated for her injuries and later discharged. The incident will be investigated by officers from CID at West End Central."
