Brad Pitt's production company Plan B has acquired the rights to bring the upcoming horror novel 'World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War' to the big screen.
The Hollywood Reporter says that the Max Brooks book is due to be published in the autumn and chronicles a global zombie epidemic.
The trade daily says that the rights to the book were the subject of a bidding war between Pitt's company and Leonardo DiCaprio's company, Appian Way.
