British actor David Morrissey is to star opposite Sharon Stone in 'Basic Instinct 2: Risk Addiction'.
The Hollywood Reporter says that the film sees Stone reprise her role as novelist Catherine Tramell, with Morrissey set to play Dr Andrew Glass, a criminal psychiatrist who must evaluate Tramell when she finds herself in trouble in London.
Principal photography on the film, which will be directed by 'The Jackal' helmer Michael Caton-Jones, is due to begin in March in London.
Morrissey's numerous TV credits include 'Blackpool', 'The Deal' and 'State of Play', with his movie credits including 'Captain Corelli's Mandolin' and 'Hilary and Jackie'.
