Pregnant 'EastEnders' star Jessie Wallace is receiving treatment in hospital following a health scare.
The 32-year-old, who is six months pregnant, is understood to be suffering from high blood pressure, partly due to stress. She was admitted to hospital on Friday following a routine check-up.
A spokesperson for the star, who plays Kat Slater in the soap, did not disclose exact details of her condition but said that she was not suffering from the potentially life-threatening complication pre-eclampsia.
Wallace, who recently broke up with her fiancé, has been told to rest and may not return to work before the baby's birth in November.
