Vin Diesel is to work with legendary director Sidney Lumet on a new film called 'Find Me Guilty'.
Variety reports that the film is based on a true story and tells of a mobster who refuses to turn informer and defends himself in court.
The film is due to begin shooting in New York in October.
Lumet's credits include 'Serpico', 'Dog Day Afternoon' and 'Network'.
Diesel will next be seen on Irish cinema screens in the sci-fi adventure 'The Chronicles of Riddick'; it opens on 27 August.
