'American Beauty' star Mena Suvari is to appear alongside Queen Latifah, Alicia Silverstone and 'In America's Djimon Hounsou in the 'Barbershop' spin-off 'Beauty Shop'.
The Hollywood Reporter says that Latifah plays the owner of the beauty shop, with Silverstone the only white staff member, Hounsou the leading man and Suvari in the role of a socialite.
Shooting on the film is due to begin next month.
'Beauty Shop' is directed by Bille Woodruff, whose new film, 'Honey', is currently in Irish cinemas.
