'Titanic' has been voted Least Deserving Best Picture by readers of Total Film magazine who were asked to nominate the least deserving Oscar-winners.

The 1997 film, which won a total of eleven Oscars at the 1998 ceremony, also earned James Cameron the Least Deserving Best Director title.

Russell Crowe took the Least Deserving Best Actor Oscar for his role as Maximus in 'Gladiator', which won him the award in 2001, and Gwyneth Paltrow was Least Deserving Best Actress for 'Shakespeare In Love'.

Robert de Niro was voted favourite Best Actor Oscar winner of all time for 'Raging Bull' and Jodie Foster came top of the Best Actress list for 'The Silence Of The Lambs'.

Best Picture went to 'The Godfather' and Steven Spielberg won Best Director for 'Schindler's List'.

This year's Oscars will take place on Sunday 29 February.
