Heather Mills, who is married to former Beatle Paul McCartney, has given birth to a baby girl.
The child was delivered yesterday, a month early, by emergency Caesarean section at the St John and St Elizabeth Hospital in London.
After Mills (35) suffered two ectopic pregnancies and cancer of the uterus there were worries that she would not be able to conceive. This is her first child.
McCartney (61) already has three children - Paul, Mary, and fashion designer Stella - by his first wife Linda who died in 1998. He also has a stepdaughter, Heather, from Linda's first marriage.
