REM's second compilation album, 'In Time: The Best of REM 1998-2003', will be released on 28 October.
Rolling Stone reports that the album will feature two new tracks, 'Bad Day' and 'Animal'.
'Bad Day' will also be released as a single; a video was shot last month in Vancouver, Canada.
REM play Marlay Park in Dublin on 16 and 17 July.
