Liam loses teeth, Oasis gig is off

Oasis have cancelled tonight's sold-out gig in Munich after frontman Liam Gallagher lost several teeth in a hotel punch-up.

The 30-year-old singer is reported to be receiving emergency dental treatment.

The official Oasis website says the group were the victims of an "unprovoked attack" by a gang of youths who fled before police arrived.

Media reports say Liam brawled with guests and kicked a policeman in the ribs.

Four members of the entourage, including Liam, were arrested following the incident at the city's top hotel, Bayerischer Hof. They were released later in the day but that night's concert was also cancelled.

Two of the band's security men were treated in hospital; one is still under observation after he was knocked unconscious.

Liam's brother Noel was not involved in the incident. Police inquiries continue.
