U2 will be the subject of an exhibition at the world famous Rock and Roll Hall of Fame early next year.
The exhibition is due to open in either January or February and includes clothing and instruments.
A spokesman for the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame said they hoped to obtain some of Bono's handwritten lyrics also.
The giant Lemon stage prop from the 'Popmart' tour will not be part of the exhibition however, because it is too big.
Four cars from the 'Zoo TV' tour have been on show in the Hall for the past seven years.
U2 are eligible for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2004.
