Celebrity presenters at this year's MTV Video Music Awards will include Britney Spears, Nelly, Johnny Knoxville, Enrique Iglesias, Kylie Minogue, Simon Cowell, Elton John, Bow Wow and B2k.
Jimmy Fallon will host the ceremony, which will feature performances from P Diddy, Shakira, Eminem, Bruce Springsteen & The E Street Band, Pink, Ashanti and Nas.
The MTV Video Music Awards 2002 will be screened live on MTV UK and Ireland on Thursday 29 August at 1.00am with a repeat on Friday 30 August at 10.00pm.
While the ceremony is traditionally held in New York in early September, this year's awards have been brought forward as a mark of respect for the anniversary of the 11 September terrorist attacks.
