U2 are to release a new single and greatest hits compilation this autumn.
According to NME.com, the Irish rock band are to release a new single on 21 October.
This single will be included on a 'Best Of' album which will cover the years from 1990 to 2000. It is rumoured that this will appear on 18 November.
The band are also to release a DVD of their videos in early December.
