The Wild Patterns project will ensure that children and young people with intellectual and physical disabilities, some of whom have severe long-term life-threatening conditions, become engaged in the process of creating, participating in and enjoying multi-disciplinary arts to bring about meaningful change.
With this funding, this organisation will co-create a project in collaboration with children with intellectual and physical disabilities, and their educators in four new schools in Co. Galway. The project will provide high-quality engagement for the children and their educators in the planning, exploration, making, preparation and evaluation of the work.
It is anticipated that 350-400 children with disabilities will benefit through this programme.
