How Music Generation will use the money granted

Music Generation
Music Generation

Building on experience gained through working in partnership with community-based music groups, Music Generation will initiate a year-long research and development project to engage in a coordinated research action plan, to build our capacity to address barriers to access to creative music-making and self-expression and to augment our partnerships with groups that work with marginalised youth.

This project will develop and implement action research projects with young people with autism, Travellers and Roma and migrants to identify and eliminate barriers to participation in Music Generation's programmes. It is anticipated that 60 children and young people from marginalised backgrounds will benefit from this programme.
