In the tenth episode of Built in Dublin, a video project of Dublin Globe and RTÉ, we introduce the founder of AutoJournalist.
Niamh Scanlon became EU Digital Girl of the Year when she was 13. She had first discovered coding and her admiration for it when she was only 9.
By the time she got the award, she was already mentoring other children in CoderDojo. Her steadfast belief is that STEM and coding are suitable for everyone and no one should be scared of it, regardless if they are 9 or 99, boy or girl.
She already has two startups, one of which aims to connect journalists and interviewees. The most important lesson she has for everyone - mistakes are nothing to be afraid of.
