This week's Tune Of The Week is Homeless In The Thousands (Dublin in the Digital Age) by Lisa O'Neill, featuring Libertines singer Peter Doherty - watch the video by Johnie Lyons above.
This new song was written in response to the growing issue of homelessness in Dublin and Ireland. It's not the first time that the acclaimed Cavan singer-songwriter has written about social injustices, following songs like Rock the Machine about unemployment in the Dublin docklands, When Cash Was King about the move to a cashless society and Violet Gibson about the Irish woman who attempted to assassinate Mussolini in 1926.

Lisa met indie music legend Peter Doherty last summer, and this is the second song they have collaborated on; she also joined The Libertines onstage at the Dublin Olympia last September.
A five-time BBC Folk Award nominee, Lisa's last album Heard a Long Gone Song was named The Guardian’s 2019 Folk Album of the Year. She also had a pair of songs feature in Peaky Blinders – her adaptation of Bob Dylan’s All the Tired Horses soundtracked the final scene of the epic TV drama. This week she plays three sell-out shows at Dublin's Gate Theatre.
