The Irish Traditional Music Archive have launched a new season of their popular Drawing from the Well series - watch the first installment of Saoithe, featuring Christy Moore, above
Ranging from earliest musical experiences, to sage advice to young people, to hopes for the future of the tradition, this new series offers in-depth conversations and musical performances from seven of Ireland's most influential and outstanding tradition bearers.
Future episodes will feature Catherine McEvoy, Frankie Gavin, Sarah Ghriallais, Matt Molloy, Dolly McMahon, and, in one of his final interviews, the late, great Paddy Moloney.
