In the Poetry Programme on Sunday 31st January, at 7:30 pm on RTÉ Radio 1, Bebe Ashley is inspired by Harry Styles, Gerard Hanberry imagines a scene in a pub, and Seán Dennehy brings us a poem of celebration.
Bebe Ashley was born in England and is currently a PhD candidate at the Seamus Heaney Centre for Poetry at Queen's University Belfast. She tells Olivia about original poetry in sign language and reads from her debut collection, Gold Light Shining (Banshee Press), which includes poems inspired by Harry Styles.

Gerard Hanberry lives in Galway. A musician and poet, he teaches creative writing at NUI Galway. He joins Olivia to read from his collection What Our Shoes Say About Us (Salmon Poetry) and new poems imagining a scene in a pub and seeing the world from a child's point of view.
