I wondered, antique or vintage, what is the difference? When I checked – antique is something from before the 1920's, true vintage is fifty years ago, vintage is twenty years ago, and retro is a garment imitating vintage style.

I have a sheepskin coat from years ago, tan colour, warm lining, fur-style collar that I had worn over several winters and then put away.
