DUBLIN DANCE FESTIVAL GOES ONLINE
Like most arts festivals finding their feet in a pandemic climatic, the Dublin Dance Festival have taken their 2020 event online. DDF Digital Capsule, running 29 May – 7 June, is a virtual space to experience dance, via films, talks, essays, an augmented reality app and more. We're particularly looking forward to the Zoom event bringing Donal Dineen's Tiny Dancer DJ set for kids to living rooms across the globe. Find out more here.

SEANÓIRÍ NAOFA BY TAU AND THE DRONES OF PRAISE
Written and recorded by the Berlin/Ireland based ensemble - Shaun Rooney, former frontman with Dublin band Humanzi - in just a few hours, opened stringed tunings and a sprinkling of hurdy-gurdy give this tune a (dare we say it) raggle-taggle vibe - it's officially released on June 5th.

WATCHMEN ON DVD AND DOWNLOAD
Already burned through everything on Netflix, Amazon Prime and RTÉ Player? Then time to visit (or even better, revisit) one of the year's absolutely TV highlights, the inspired and incendiary sequel to the classic graphic novel from writer-producer Damien Lindelof. Not a comics fan? It doesn't matter. Haven't read the original, or seen the movie? Doesn't matter either. This works as a compelling stand-alone epic in its own right. How good was it? We've finally forgiven Lindelof for the ending of Lost.

YEAH YEAH YEAHS STAY IN THE CLOSET
While we've been enjoying all the at-home sessions from musicians on lockdown, our favourite to date has to be this moment of madness from the Brooklyn art-rockers, lead by the mighty Karen O, performing their tune Phenomenon - sure, what else are you gonna do on a Saturday night these days?
