Sea Fever is the debut feature film of Irish writer and director Neasa Hardiman - she talked about the film to RTÉ Arena on RTÉ One - listen above.
Neasa has already enjoyed a stellar career in television, including a BAFTA for her work on the BBC's Happy Valley.
Sea Fever, a science fiction thriller set aboard a fishing trawler off the West Coast of Ireland, is available on demand from April 24th.
