Last weekend, New Orleans was taken over by thousands of folk musicians, and RTÉ Radio 1's Simply Folk was there to be part of it all, thanks to Folk Alliance International.

This week's edition explores the connections that exist when musicians meet each other, to write, record and make music, showcasing an eclectic mix of artists: Mick Flannery, The Once from Newfoundland, Aine Tyrell, Emily Wuramara from Australia, Jeffrey Martin from Oregon, and Irish Aussie duo HatzFitz and Cara.
