Paul Herriott presents a concert live from the National Concert Hall, Dublin. Chief Conductor Jaime Martín returns to conduct the RTÉ National Symphony Orchestra with the violinist Ellinor D'Melon for Tchaikovsky's Violin Concerto.
The concert also features the Irish Premiere of Albert Schnelzer's Burn My Letters: Remembering Clara, written in tribute to the pioneering composer. Based on her letters to life-long family friend Johannes Brahms - Clara voiced by wild and free flute, Brahms by a more controlled and cautious bassoon - it's an intriguing, enchanting, intimate and illuminating dialogue between the fellow composers.
