We Irish do love a festival... And while events like Electric Picnic, the festival of Writing and Ideas, Body & Soul, Galway International Arts, Sea Sessions all have their own niche markets, the one thing they do have in common is a growing love for comedy.

In recent years, stand-ups have become increasingly popular at festivals - after all, who better to liven you up on day three of a sleep-deprived weekend than a comedian? Dedicated comedy tents can be found on the ground of most music festivals and All Together Now, the country's latest festival addition, is no different.

Held in Curraghmore House, County Waterford on the 2nd to 4th August, the festival is all about playful, relaxed, eco-friendly fun. This year has an impressive music line up including Pillow Queens, Patti Smith, and Hot Chip but it looks like the comedy stage will be grabbing festival goer's attention.

The aptly named Ha Ha Stage will be graced by some of the biggest and best names in Irish comedy over the August Bank Holiday weekend, including Tommy Tiernan, Jason Byrne, and Deirdre O'Kane.

Other homegrown acts include podcast stars The 2 Johnnies, Tommy Tiernan Show MC Julie Jay, writer and creator of the comedy video Facebook page Giz a Laugh Enya Martin, Irish Man Abroad podcaster Jarlath Regan plus the legendary Karl Spain, Totally Wired, Chris Kent, and Emma Doran.
