They are all participants in the New Irish Communities workshops at the Irish Writers’ Centre where they all – some to their own surprise – are writing poetry. They talk about the challenges and opportunities of writing in English rather than their mother tongues.
Olivia is joined, too, by poet Mark Granier, one of the facilitators of the workshops, and Mark also reads one of his own poems from his collection Ghostlight (Salmon Poetry).
