The 2017 Vodafone Comedy Festival has landed in the Iveagh Gardens. With over 100 comedians across five stages, this four-day festival is a triumph of the Irish comedy scene.
Comedic heavyweights Tommy Tiernan, Deirdre O'Kane, Dara O'Brien, Daniel O'Doherty, Maeve Higgins and PJ Gallagher are headlining the event but they are merely the tip of a very talented iceberg.
Internet sensation Foil, Arms and Hog are playing throughout the weekend as well as the hilarious Alison Spittle, the formidable Joanne McNally, the controversial Lee Nelson and infamous feminist Deborah Frances-White.

Yesterday, we took a trip to the Iveagh Gardens to catch up with some of the comedians as they hit the stage.
New York comedian Colin Quinn's filmography includes hit shows Saturday Night Live, Inside Amy Schumer, Girls and feature films such as Grown Ups and Trainwreck. His work has spanned from Broadway (Long Story Short) to Netflix (The New York Story) and every comedy cellar in between.
