It's been four years since The Moscow State Opera brought their production of Carmen to Dublin's Bord Gáis Energy Theatre, to sell-out houses and a rapturous response. Now they're returning for an encore performance this March - and we've got tickets to give away!
Moscow State Opera’s spectacular production of Bizet's masterwork will feature 14 soloists and 40 chorus, including Spanish dancers, performing on the Bord Gais Energy Stage alongside the 50 piece Moscow State Opera Orchestra. The Childrens Choir will be performed The Junior Musicals Theatre School Of Bray.

Sung in French with English surtitles, internationally acclaimed Irish Soprano Celine Byrne will be performing in the role of Micaëla every evening, alongside a Moscow State Opera company that includes tenor Hovhannes Ayvazyan and mezzo soprano Nadezhda Babintseva, who brought the house down four years ago when Carmen was last performed in Dublin.

Carmen will take place at the Bord Gáis Energy Theatre for 5 performances only, from 1 until 5 March 2017 - and we've got five double tickets to give away to the production. To be in with a chance to win a pair, simply follow RTÉ Culture on Twitter or Facebook and tell us this: Which composer wrote Carmen?
Send us your answer along with the hashtag #RTEcarmen before 6pm next Monday evening. Now get cracking - and the very best of luck!
