How and why we should preserve these unique landscapes
Bogs hold a special place in the Irish imagination, but these unique landscapes bursting with species that aren't found elsewhere also provide much more than just turf. In the latest episode of the Brainstorm radio show on RTÉ Radio One, presenter Ella McSweeney and guests Catherine Farrell and Raymond Flynn look at how and why we should preserve our bogs.
This episode was produced by Tom McGuire, the researcher was Maura Fay and the sound operator was Peadar Carney.
