    30km/h speed limit for Phoenix Park from 28 February

    A 30km/h speed limit will be introduced in Dublin's Phoenix Park from 28 February, while a cul-de-sac on the Upper Glen Road, and a one-way system on the North Road will also be implemented for nine months from that date.

    Illegal dumping in Dublin city is costing nearly €1 million a year, but a report to city councillors has stated that the tonnage of dumped rubbish has decreased by 26% over a two-year period.

    Cllrs concerned about 183-bed Drumcondra development

    Councillors have expressed concern about a 183-bed Build To Rent development in Drumcondra, Co Dublin, which would include a flood wall up to two metres high along the Tolka River.

    The latest housing figures show that the number of households on Dublin city's housing list have decreased by 33% over the past four years. However, the numbers looking to change their existing housing by applying for a transfer have doubled.
