    Hyundai's Ioniq 6 voted car of the year in AA Ireland awards

    The three cars most closely vying for the top slot in the AA Ireland Car Awards were all electric, with Hyundai's Ioniq 6 pipping the BYD Atto 3 and the MG 4 to take the overall Car of the Year award.

    Volvo to drop diesel engines completely from early next year

    Volvo Cars is to end production of remaining diesel models by early next year as diesel sales continue their decline in Europe and manufacturers race to become fully-electric producers. It was thought Volvo's transition to fully electric would be in 2030.
