Another Clare native in Ireland's pack, Siobhán McCarthy has made a rapid recent rise in the game.
A former cross-code GAA player, McCarthy, and her twin sister Kate, rose to prominence when both featuring for Railway Union during their league winning 2021/22 season.
McCarthy would go on to win an interprovincial title with Munster and later get into Ireland contention, with a debut in 2024.
