Awards season is in full swing, with the nation's best female soccer players, camógs, and now footballers honoured over the past 48 hours.

All-Ireland senior champions Dublin led the way with seven representatives on the 2025 TG4 Ladies Football All-Star team.

The annual selection was announced on Saturday evening at the All-Star awards banquet in the Bonnington Dublin Hotel.

Dublin’s seven winners were defenders Jess Tobin, Leah Caffrey and Sinéad Goldrick, midfielder Éilish O’Dowd, and attackers Carla Rowe, Hannah Tyrrell and Kate Sullivan.

Runners-up Meath claimed four All-Star awards: goalkeeper Robyn Murray, defenders Mary Kate Lynch and Aoibhín Cleary, and forward Niamh Gallogly.

Galway, All-Ireland semi-finalists, earned two awards for Kilkerrin-Clonberne team-mates Nicola Ward and Olivia Divilly in defence and attack respectively. For the second year running, Ward and Divilly are also the only two survivors from the 2024 TG4 All-Star team.

There was recognition too for National League Division 1 winners and All-Ireland semi-finalists Kerry, with leading scorer Síofra O’Shea named at full-forward.

Waterford captain Emma Murray’s inclusion at midfield ensures a first All-Star award for the Déise since Rebecca Hallahan in 2007.

Seven players collected their first All-Star awards: Robyn Murray, Tobin, O’Dowd, Emma Murray, Gallogly, O’Shea and Sullivan.

Lynch and Divilly secured their second awards, while Cleary, Ward and Tyrrell are now three-time winners.

Dublin duo Caffrey and Rowe picked up their fifth awards, while Goldrick claimed her eighth.

It was a memorable night for Na Fianna in Dublin, with Caffrey, O’Dowd and Tyrrell all featuring on the All-Star team.
