Galway forward Shauna Hynes has been named as The Croke Park Hotel/LGFA Player of the Month for March 2025.
The news comes as a boost to the Tribeswomen ahead of next Saturday's Lidl National League Division 2 final against Cork at Croke Park.
Galway have impressed so far this season, finishing their league group stage, winning all a 100% record, returning to Division 1 and securing their place in the final.
The form of Hynes has been central to Galway's success this term. The 27-year-old, who made her senior debut in 2017, starred in Galway’s three victories during the month of March.
The Milltown player notched 1-03 in the win against Donegal, 1-04 as the Tribeswomen got the better of Monaghan, and 1-01 as Galway overcame Clare.
Hynes and Galway will now look to crown their Lidl National League season with Division 2 silverware when they face Cork at Croke Park on Saturday (3pm).
