Orla O'Dwyer shone as Brisbane Lions eased past Greater Western Sydney Giants in an impressive 47-point AFLW victory at Manuka Oval on Sunday.

O'Dwyer bagged a well-taken goal in the second quarter - her third of the season - as the Lions ran riot to beat the Giants 10.7 (67) to 3.2 (20). Cora Staunton featured for the Giants but was held goalless. Last week Staunton reached the 50-goal mark in GWS's loss to Western Bulldogs.

Sarah Rowe made her first appearance of the campaign for Collingwood, who kept up their unbeaten start to the campaign with a 31-point win over Sydney.

Aisling McCarthy notched a good goal for West Coats Eagles in in their AFLW clash with Gold Coast Suns on Sunday, but her side still fell to a heavy defeat at Metricon Stadium.

It was however a good day at the office for Clara Fitzpatrick's St Kilda who hammered Hawthorn Hawks by 53 points.
