The ladies' from Clare will be hoping to cause a surprise against Mayo

The quarter-final matches in the Bord Gáis Energy Ladies' NFL Division 1 are down for decision this weekend.

Saturday 4 April

Armagh v Dublin - Lurgan, 2.00pm

Dublin have been the team to watch since they soundly beat last year's All-Ireland finalists Monaghan in Round 1. Unbeaten since then, the Jackies will be oozing confidence against an Armagh side that has lost three out of five matches in this campaign.

Armagh will field an experienced side but Dublin should have enough to power on.

Clare v Mayo - Coolaclare, 2.00pm

Newly promoted Clare will be delighted with the chance to reach the semi finals, but it would be a massive shock if they were to progress.

Mayo may not have performed as steadily as they would have liked, but they topped the division and it would take a very brave punter to bet against them here.

Laois v Monaghan - Stradbally, 2.00pm

Monaghan’s revenge victory over Cork in the last round will have put a spring in their step and they regrouped quickly after shock defeat to Dublin in Round 1.

Laois have done enough to reach the quarter finals from a competitive division, but Monaghan should be clinical enough to ensure a place in the semi final draw.

Kerry v Cork - Killarney 3.00pm

Cork's League campaign has not been going they way they might have planned or others might have expected, with the All-Ireland Champions picking up two defeats en route to the quarter finals. Kerry have also had a mixed campaign so an intriguing derby could await.
