The Ladies Gaelic Football Association have announced that VHI Healthcare will sponsor the All-Ireland Club Championships for an initial period of two years at junior, intermediate and senior levels.
The partnership with VHI is a major boost to Ladies Gaelic Football, which last week saw over 25,600 attend the All-Ireland finals in Croke Park.
Geraldine Giles, President of the Ladies GFA said: 'We seek sponsorship partners in Ladies Football that will work with us to promote our games. Ladies Football has never been so popular or played by so many people.'
'VHI Healthcare is an ideal partner for us and we look forward to a mutually beneficial relationship over the coming years. Club football is the cornerstone of our organisation as it permeates into towns and villages across Ireland and this sponsorship enables us to promote this competition at grassroots level.'
