It has been announced that Suzuki Ireland will sponsor next season’s Ladies’ National Football League - the first ever deal of its kind to be secured by Cumann Peil Gael na mBan.
The Taoiseach, Bertie Ahern, attended the launch at Croke Park today, hailing “the outstanding talent that is now being discovered and developed in Ladies Gaelic Football”.
Another first for this year’s league is the participation of all 32 counties, with Kilkenny poised to make their inter-county debut.
