The Philadelphia Eagles secured a second straight NFC East divisional title with a 29-18 victory over the Washington Commanders, while the Chicago Bears completed a stunning 22-16 comeback win in overtime against the Green Bay Packers in the NFC North.
The Eagles-Commanders contest was marred by a late brawl which saw three players ejected.
The Commanders had lost eight of their last nine games to see their play-off hopes extinguished but moved into a 10-7 lead – a Jake Moody field goal and Jacory Croskey-Merritt touchdown coming either side of Jalen Hurts picking out DeVonta Smith.
Hurts connected with Dallas Goedert from 15 yards to complete an 83-yard drive and put Philadelphia ahead in the third quarter.
Saquon Barkley ran in a touchdown in the fourth quarter and, after converting Tank Bigsby's score, a fight resulted in Tyler Steen of the Eagles and Washington pair Javon Kinlaw and Quan Martin being ejected.
Chris Rodriguez Jr ran in a late touchdown to narrow the deficit but the Super Bowl champions held on to secure top spot in the division.
The Chicago Bears closed in on the NFC North division title with a stunning 22-16 overtime win against the Green Bay Packers.
The Bears trailed 16-6 late in the fourth quarter, but a Cairo Santos field goal was swiftly followed by a Jahdae Walker touchdown and Santos added the extra point to force overtime.
DJ Moore then held a 46-yard touchdown pass from Caleb Williams to seal an unlikely comeback and a one-and-a-half game advantage over the Packers at the top of the NFC North with two left to play.
Chicago will secure a play-off place if the Pittsburgh Steelers beat the Detroit Lions on Sunday.
