Zane Gonzalez landed a 43-yard field goal as time ran out as the Atlanta Falcons completed a 29-28 comeback against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

The Falcons trailled 28-14 when Buccaneers quarterback Baker Mayfield threw a touchdown pass to Chris Godwin Jr early in the fourth quarter.

But a Mayfield interception allowed the Falcons to score two touchdowns, including one of three thrown by Kirk Cousins to tight end Kyle Pitts.

They failed to connect with a two-point conversion on both scores, but Gonzalez clinched the victory on the road.

The defeat leaves Tampa Bay (7-7) half a game behind the Carolina Panthers in the NFC South – who they meet twice in their remaining three games – after their fifth loss in six games.
