The Miami Dolphins claimed an overtime win over the Washington Commanders during the first NFL game in Spain.

Real Madrid's Bernabeu stadium was the venue for the Dolphins’ 16-13 victory, with Marcus Mariota’s intercepted pass during the first overtime play allowing Riley Patterson to kick a game-winning field goal.

Ollie Gordon had pulled Miami level at 13-13 with a touchdown in the fourth quarter as Washington suffered a sixth defeat in a row.

The Buffalo Bills moved to 7-3 for the season with a 44-32 win against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers.

Two touchdowns from Josh Allen in the fourth quarter proved decisive, with the quarterback also throwing three touchdowns and running in one more.

The Carolina Panthers moved to 6-5 thanks to a 30-27 overtime win against the Atlanta Falcons.

Tommy Tremble set up Ryan Fitzgerald for a 28-yard field goal to clinch the victory, while Atlanta suffered a major blow with wide receiver Drake London forced off by a knee injury.

The Jacksonville Jaguars dominated against the Los Angeles Chargers, avoiding a second collapse in a row as they clinched a 35-6 victory.

The Chicago Bears came up trumps late on for a thrilling 19-17 victory against the Minnesota Vikings.

The Bears led 16-3 only for the Vikings to take a 17-16 lead with less than a minute left, but Cairo Santos’ 48-yard field goal proved to be the decisive moment.

Christian Watson was the key man for the Green Bay Packers in their 27-20 success against the New York Giants, while the Pittsburgh Steelers thumped the Cincinnati Bengals 34-12.

Victory came at a cost, though, as the Steelers lost Aaron Rodgers to a left hand injury.

Matthew Wright kicked a 35-yard field goal at the death to give the Houston Texans a 16-13 victory over the Tennessee Titans.
