The Dallas Cowboys' star pass rusher Micah Parsons has been traded to NFC rivals the Green Bay Packers, ending an offseason stand-off between player and franchise.

The Packers will send two first-round picks and defensive tackle Kenny Clark to Dallas in the blockbuster move, according to NFL Network.

As for the disgruntled Parsons, the stare-down with Jones over his contract ends with him reportedly receiving a four-year, $188 million extension that includes $136 million guaranteed, making him the highest-paid non quarterback in league history.

The star defensive end took to X to say playing for the Cowboys was "more than a dream, it was destiny".

Parsons will visit Dallas in a Green Bay uniform when the Packers play the Cowboys in week 4.
