The Pittsburgh Steelers (6-0) claimed a 27-24 victory over the Tennessee Titans (5-1) in a tense battle of previously unbeaten NFL sides on Sunday.

Pittsburgh scored on their first two drives, through a Diontae Johnson catch and Benny Snell's close-range run, before the Titans responded through Corey Davis.

Two Chris Boswell field goals and Johnson’s second score made it 27-7 and though AJ Brown’s long touchdown catch and Derrick Henry’s one-yard plunge narrowed the deficit, Stephen Gostkowski missed a 45-yard field goal at the death.

The Titans were earlier fined $350,000 for breaches of coronavirus protocols after multiple positive tests led to the fixture being postponed from its original week four slot.

Zane Gonzalez kicked a 48-yard field goal with 15 seconds remaining in overtime as the Arizona Cardinals handed the Seattle Seahawks their first loss of the season with a 37-34 win in Sunday's late game.

Gonzalez made three field goals, including a 44-yarder on the final play of regulation to force overtime.

Kyler Murray completed 34 of 48 passes for 360 yards and three touchdowns for the Cardinals (5-2) and also rushed for a team-high 67 yards and a score.

His counterpart, Russell Wilson, was 33 of 50 for 388 yards and three TDs, all to Tyler Lockett, but also threw three interceptions, the last one setting up Gonzalez's winning kick. Lockett had 15 receptions for 200 yards for the Seahawks (5-1).

Both teams had appeared to have won the game earlier in overtime.

Gonzalez missed a 41-yard field goal attempt with 2:42 left after being 'iced' by his own team. Gonzalez initially made the kick, but the Cardinals had called time out just before snap because the play clock was about to expire. Gonzalez's second attempt sailed wide left.

The Seahawks appeared to win it on a 48-yard pass from Wilson to DK Metcalf with 1:04 left in OT, but that play was nullified because of holding.

Tom Brady threw four touchdown passes and ran for another score and moved past Drew Brees into the NFL's top spot for career touchdown passes as visiting Tampa Bay cruised past Las Vegas 45-20.

Brady, who has thrown 559 TD passes in his career, moved past Brees (558) with a 1-yard pass to rookie Tyler Johnson with 3:08 remaining to seal the victory. Brady completed 33 of 45 passes for 369 yards and no interceptions for Tampa Bay (5-2).

Derek Carr, making his 100th career start, completed 24 of 36 passes for 284 yards and two touchdowns and an interception while Daniel Carlson connected on field goals of 42 and 36 yards for Las Vegas (3-3). Nelson Agholor caught five passes for 107 yards and a touchdown for the Raiders, who managed just 76yards rushing.

Jeff Wilson Jr. rushed for three touchdowns before suffering an ankle injury, and San Francisco intercepted four passes, including Cam Newton three times, as the defending NFC champions steamrolled hosts New England 33-6.

The 27-point margin of defeat was the largest for the Patriots (2-4) since a 41-14 loss at Kansas City in Week 4 of the 2014 season. The loss was the third straight this season for New England, who haven't scored more than 12 points in any of those defeats.

In his first homecoming since a 2017 trade to the 49ers, Jimmy Garoppolo threw for 277 yards and managed an offense that ran up 467 yards for the 49ers (4-3)against the traditionally strong New England defense.

Patrick Mahomes was 15-for-23 passing for 200 yards and a score, Clyde Edwards-Helaire rushed for a touchdown, and visiting Kansas City trounced Denver 43-16 as Byron Pringle returned a kick for a touchdown and Daniel Sorensen returned an interception for another score.

Tyreek Hill had six catches for 55 yards and a TD and backup quarterback ChadHenne ran for another for the Chiefs (6-1), who have won 10 straight against Denver. Drew Lock threw for 254 yards on 24-of-40 passing and two interceptions and also ran for a touchdown, and Melvin Gordon III rushed for 68 yards and another score but fumbled twice for the Broncos (2-4).

The Cleveland Browns edged out the Cincinnati Bengals 37-34 to stay close behind the Steelers and the Baltimore Ravens in the AFC North at 5-2.

Browns receiver Odell Beckham Jr was forced off with a knee injury sustained attempting a tackle after Baker Mayfield’s first pass was intercepted for the second straight week, leaving tight end Harrison Bryant to lead the offense with two touchdown grabs.

David Njoku and Kareem Hunt also caught scoring passes from Mayfield (5 TDs) before Donovan Peoples-Jones’ late game-winner, while Bengals rookie Joe Burrow threw for three touchdowns and ran in another.

Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert's breakout rookie season continued as he threw three touchdown passes and ran for another score to lead hosts Los Angeles to victory over Jacksonville.

Herbert picked up his first win as a starter, completing 27 of 43 passes for 347 yards and running for 66 yards on nine attempts to help the Chargers (2-4) snap a four-game losing streak.

The Jaguars (1-6) suffered their sixth consecutive loss, becoming the third team in NFL history to allow 30 or more points in six consecutive games in a single season.

Joey Slye came up just short on a would-be NFL record 65-yard field goal attempt as the New Orleans Saints held off a Carolina Panthers comeback to win 27-24.

Drew Brees threw a touchdown to Jared Cook and leapt over the line for another and though Carolina responded with a DJ Moore double, Deonte Harris restored the lead right on half-time.

Curtis Samuel levelled the scores but Wil Lutz’s second field goal and Slye’s near miss settled matters.

Green Bay, without injured running back Aaron Jones, relied on their passing game in a 35-20 win over the Houston Texans to move to 5-1.

Aaron Rodgers found Davante Adams, Jace Sternberger and Malik Taylor for first-half touchdowns. Adams scored again and Jamaal Williams ran one in while Deshaun Watson threw Texans touchdowns to David Johnson and Will Fuller.

Matthew Stafford hit TJ Hockenson for the decisive touchdown as the Detroit Lions won 23-22 against the Atlanta Falcons, whose running back Todd Gurley scored twice in a losing cause.

Antonio Gibson, Terry McLaurin and Logan Thomas scored touchdowns as Washington beat fellow NFC East strugglers the Dallas Cowboys 25-3 while six Tyler Bass field goals saw the Buffalo Bills past the winless New York Jets 18-10 to lift them to 5-2 and consign the Jets to 0-7.
