Russell Wilson had a night to remember as the Seattle Seahawks picked up their third win in four matches this season with a 27-17 triumph over the struggling Washington Redskins at FedExField on Monday in the NFL.

Quarterback Wilson rushed for a career-high 122 yards and a touchdown, while he also completed 18 of 21 passes for 201 yards and two more TDs for the reigning Super Bowl champions, who have now won nine on the trot in Monday night games.

For Washington, Kirk Cousins threw for 283 yards and two touchdowns but it was not enough to prevent his side slumping to another loss.
